How to Create a Vampire Costume

There are many ways to create a vampire costume, and the elegant vampire is one of them. The elegant type of vampire costume is not hard to make and looks way better than any vampire costume that looks gory and not a good sight to look at. Here are the steps on how to make vampire costume that will make the others look at you enviously rather than freaking out.

  • Color your hair with a temporary spray-on color. Although white color is typical, be a vampire that thinks out of the box. If your hair is straight, gel it back and tease it. If your hair is curly, exaggerate the hair as vampires have glamorous hair.
  • No matter what your skin color is, powder your face dead white. The powder will make you look ghoulish and bloodless as vampire. Use a dark eye shadow to darken the shadows under your eyes. Rim your eyelids in red or pink lip liner for a very attractive dead look. The eyebrows should be darken and coat the eyelashes with mascara. You can either use red lipstick, white or black for the deadly and scandalous vampire.
  • For male vampires, a tuxedo shirt is perfect but you could also use white dress shirt and black suit which give out the same effect. For the ladies, wear any dressy dress to achieve the elegant, grownups and sexy vampires. Wear a cape either by purchasing them in a Halloween store or do it yourself from fabrics. Take a neat old brooch and pin the cape across your shoulders.
  • Wear a pair of fake fangs. You can make the fangs look longer by blackening the bottoms of your incisors. Put a few drops of red makeup at the corners of your mouth for a more real blood-sucking vampire.
