How to Make Bloody Vampire Tomato Soup

During Halloween parties, there are always appetizers and foods served in Halloween-themed food to create the eerie moment, which is actually fun and interesting at the same time. With a simple twist, a normal and everyday food can be turned into something extraordinary and scary at the same time. One of the recipes that you can try for the Halloween is the bloody vampire tomato soup as the color resembles the blood. The preparation is easy and the taste is delicious too. Here are the steps on how to make the soup.

  • Place 1 large package of cream cheese into a container of hot water to soften the cheese until it is soft to the touch. Mince well one small to medium-sized yellow onion as sliced or diced onion will not blend in well with the soup later. For every two people, open and put into a saucepan one can of condensed tomato soup. Reduce the amount of the water recommended on the can to about one and half of the required amount.
  • Stir the mixture until it becomes creamy on a low flame. Add one half of the minced onion to the soup and stir until it is thoroughly blended. Add more onion according to your taste. Put one-half of the softened cream cheese into the soup mixture with a small amount at a time. Stir the mixture until blended and add more cream cheese to taste. Put some pepper and salt to taste.
  • You can use low fat cream cheese to cut the calories and for best flavor, use the best quality condensed tomato soups that you can find as your base.
  • Serve this bloody tomato inside shooter glasses to serve cold or inside a mini bowl with creepy fake eyeballs for Halloween appetizers.
