Lady Gaga is a singer, who is known for her uniqueness and quirky clothing, never fails to grab people’s attention. Some of the interesting styles that became a trend are the sunglasses on Lady Gaga’s album cover “The Fame”. You can make the sunglasses by yourselves without having to spend a lot of money buying it. Here are the steps on how to do it.
- Prepare your work area by putting a cover down on it first. Make sure the cover is large enough just in case you spill the glue accidentally. Before you begin, make sure that the materials that you need is ready.
- Have a picture of Lady Gaga’s sunglasses and try to lay out the crystals patterns according to the picture. You don’t have to worry if the patterns are slightly different than the picture. Make sure that you provide enough glue and glasses to go as you will need everything ready when you get started.
- Wipe your sunglasses with alcohol using a washcloth or cotton swab. This will help to remove oil or dirt that will affect the glue to the crystals. You are ready to apply the glue when the glasses have been wiped clean and dry.
- Purchase the glue with a fine tip for easier application. You can also use a wooden Popsicle stick or anything that is flat to help spread the glue evenly. Apply the glue to the right lens of your sunglasses until the entire area are covered. The layer should be thick enough to hold the crystals but not thick enough to ooze out. Place some glue on the right arm of the sunglasses frames at least 1/2″ down.
- Carefully, begin to apply the crystals into the glued area quickly in the pattern that you have arranged. Apply each of the crystal with pressure, but do not press too hard as you might risk the glasses to break.
- Leave the sunglasses to dry at least for an hour or overnight. Check if the crystals are stuck on the sunglasses properly; reapply more glue if the crystals have fallen off.
