If you have someone who lives in another country and you want to send gifts; dried fruits are good gifts to deliver. Dried fruit is an ideal gift to give especially for college students or soldiers who could use a care package from home. It is not a hassle to ship dried fruit than any other food as dried fruits will not perish easily. However, you should take more attention towards the packaging as you want to ensure that the dried fruits arrive safely at its destination. Here are the steps on how to wrap the dried fruits.
- You should choose a box that is suitable to the size of your dried fruits. You should never use a large box if you only want to send one or two items or vice versa. Instead, use a box that will keep the dried fruit stay put from moving around.
- Fill the box with peanuts packing. Use the packages to fill one-fourth of the box.
- Use a bubble wrap to wrap the dried fruit. If possible, keep the dried fruit in the original packaging or place them in a plastic container before wrapping it with a bubble wrap if it is not in the original wrapping.
- Put the dried fruit in the box and close the box lid tightly. Use a shipping tape to tape the box lid edges. If needed, have a friend to help you out.
- Bring your box to the postal office. Write the shipping address and return address on the label. Pay the package shipping cost with cash, credit card or debit card according to your postal office payment regulations.
- Make sure to track your package to ensure that the dried fruit package reaches to its destination.
